So, purchased a "highly rated" call blocker for my new Q10, only to discover it blocked literally ALL phone calls.

That's useless, as I could just as easily have switched off the phone radio, free of charge.

Looking for a blocker that offers a "black list" that facilitates blocking only selected phone numbers.

    Thanks in advance.

Only one I've used. Works well
Check out Call Blocker XT in BlackBerry World! You can find it at http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/59492808

    Used to be free tho..

Edit: apps require os10.3+ in order to block specific calls

Thanks. Will check it out. I'm willing to pay for a quality software product.

Just noticed the 10.3 requirement though, so holding off.

Maybe a different idea (is what I did on phones where I couldn't block certain numbers) is to select a specific ringtone for that contact and select the nosound.mp3 ringtone.
I actually created a nosound.mp3 ringtone myself, which, as you might guess, is an mp3 with 10 seconds no sound.

Now whenever that person/company calls me that I don't want to hear, I won't be notified. Of course on the screen you still he/she is calling. But at least you're not disturbed loudly.

Interesting work-around, but have to believe a decent call-blocker exists out there somewhere for a Sprint variant of the Q10.

BlackBerry has allows users to block calls only after 10.3. So once you update your os, update your old call blocker app. I'm sure it will work as you wanted.

BTW I installed leak, just for call block functionality. Interestingly, I got three different call blocker apps for free in a promotion. The sad thing is, I'm not getting nuisance call to test this. Classic dog and stone scenario. :-)
