I was pleased to see the announcement that Sprint should have 10.2 out by the end of February - this after figuring Sprint wouldn't release an update ever, or at least in a timely manner.

As such, I decided to install an unofficial official release of 10.2 onto my Q10 since I really wanted the new features right now. I haven't had a single issue and it seems all is well between my service and device.

My questions are: when the official Sprint version is released, what is the best way to swap out my 10.2.0.429 for Sprint's? Will I still receive a notification to update or will it depend on which version is newer? Should I resort back to the official 10.1 then upgrade to Sprint's 10.2 or does it matter - i.e. is updating just a clean wipe of system files?

Sorry for the noob questions. I just want to make sure I avoid any problems.

Thank you for any advice you can give.

I do find a autoloader load much cleaner than ota anyway. Just my opinion. But yes, if sprint releases higher build than your current OS, you will be notified.
