I use it, but strictly by adding normal account setup in the HUB. I don't use the calendar and other options. There is a separate GMAIL app but I've never liked it.

The only issue I have is occasionally i'll notice it says Not Connected and I have to restart my phone. It seems to happen when I walk out and away from my Wifi connection.

Works just like the other email setups. I don't use the app I have it synced on the hub.. calendar and contacts sync up nicely as well

Same here. Works very well in the Hub. (I didn't even know there was a separate app.)

I use G-Mail with the IMAP push... lately (some months ago) I followed the steps to set up my Calendar with CalDAV (adding a new calendar account and set it up)... I have 12 "sub-Calendars" in my google account and they synch all perfectly. Very satisfied. I am not very sure if my contacts synch, never verified. I think they synch better with outlook (.com, online)... but as said, don't nail me on that!

I too, used IMAP to setup Gmail in the hub. Works fine.

But I have also brought this app from BlackBerry World "Email for Gmail", it's essentially a "skin" for web-based gmail, but it allows me to switch to all 3 of my Gmail accounts when I need too.

In my case, It works better than in the hub when I want to do certain things like accessing old emails
