Hey guys,

So when I'm on gmail on the desktop, my emails are tabbed. One for regular, one for social, and one for promotion. I belive this is called GMAIL tabs

Is there a way to do this on the Q10 so I can only access whatever type of email I need?

I know you can do this on android phones (since it's a Google product) but I was hoping there was a way to do this on q10 too?

edit: oh yeah, how do you reply to emails without quoting the previous emails?

yes you can ...

in the email settings, you can choose the folders you want to synch
and in the hub, when you view your gmail account, tap on the top bar ( that read GMAIL Inbox ) and you can pick the subfolder you want to see ...

hmm according to the directions, I should see a blue bar at the top with my email address, when I tap on it I should see all the subfolders within that account

however, I dont see my own email address at the top. I only see "GMAIL" across the top in blue. when I tape that, it doesnt show the subfolders from within

I mean in my gmail on the desktop, within ONE folder I have 3 different tabs. Meaning within my inbox folder, all my emails are seperated into different tabs. One for regular mail, one for social mail, and one for promotions.

I think according to the instructions, its teaching me how to bring in my inbox folder, my sent folder, my drafts folder etc. , but now to seperate the types of emails within each folder

Any update on this? I still see all my promotional emails in my z30 inbox whereas on the desktop it's all shows up only in promotions tab.

I doubt this will be supported. This is a Gmail feature, not a standard imap standard.
