    I figured it out!

Open up your phone, then select the keypad (third option after recent calls and contacts) then hold down the key on your keypad and it will prompt you to add somebody to the key selected.

Hello..i bought the Q10 and there's no 1 button speed dial. Sooo which fix did you find or how do you enable it? I've looked everywhere!

    Thanks

They are actually working on it. They tweeted to Kevin that they have it working correctly on their test units, so it should be in the next update. So hang in there. :-)

It works for me? You just have to be in the dial pad screen.

Exactly, that doesn't make sense. What we're talking about is how it is on OS7. From the home screen, without doing ANYTHING, all you have to do is hold a button and it'll already be dialing. It's EXTREMELY fast and efficient.

It's one of the big reasons I upgraded from z10 to q10; I knew it wasn't like Os7 yet, but I have faith . I'd have switched anyways for other advantages but I'm still looking forward to this update when it comes about.

How hard would it have been to have one button speed dialing? Make me wonder.

Just like a lack of contacts on the bottom of the device for cradle charging!

Guess they are saving that for the Q11.

I'm currently using the 'speed dialling' feature on my Q10 at the moment, which let's you speed dial someone when you're in the phone app, however I'm very pleased that BlackBerry have tweeted Kevin about proper speed dialling coming to BB10 in a future update, where you can speed dial people from the home screen.

Uh, no, I don't use twitter, but look for CB's editorial written by Kevin about the issue. It might be a few pages back.

Edit: Oh, the reason I'm referring to the article is because Kevin quoted the tweet on it.
