    Is there any way to add new folders on the desktop and how!

    Yes, there is and it is quite simple once you think about it:
    Long-tap on an icon, wait till you can drag it. Now just drag it on top of any other icon, most likely one you'd like to have within the same folder, and the system creates the folder for you. You can name it the way you want and just drag other apps in there later on.
