I bought a "unlocked" Q10 off of Ebay,
instead of being "unlocked", it came with a code that does not work.
I kind of need this phone to work this weekend. I am willing to learn from this mistake, and will buy a code online, but I don't know the carrier of this phone.
Any way I can find out? I messaged seller, but I don't have time to play this game.

You don't need carrier information unless the phone has been blocked, or the Imei placed on the international blocked list.
If the Imei is "clean", you can contact any online unlocking service/comppany to get the correct mep code.
If used mobile in canada for all of my devices and they are great!
