OK, so I cheated. I couldn't help it. I purchased all white components and had them swapped. It cost a little more, but I'm happy that I'm not forced to switch to Verizon.

Ummm... You think switching to VZW is a valid solution?!? I had a white Q10 from VZW and I still had to purchase a good portion of housing just to get rid of all their branding!

I believe you would not be able to tell this was once a Black Q10. Everything fits seamlessly.

Dam you got me all interested until I read that you cheated but that is awesome what you did. I probably won't do it but I got to ask how hard was it to convert.

I saw in a post on CB a while ago that someone suggested using truesupplier.com, so I gave it a shot and it worked well. They shipped FedEx and it only took 2 days to ship. Customer service was very helpful and they responded to every concern/question I had.

It was hard enough that I didn't even attempt to do it myself. I paid a local repair shop $50 and they did a great job.

wow nice! I used to have white 9900 and then after that, I used a white z10. I really liked how they looked. The white bold got a lot of attention, the z10 wasn't so rare. It sort of got confused for a HTC One but when it came time to get a q10, I don't know...
I thought black was the way to go. Especially since I've had a white phone dating back to the 9700. I am really happy with it but I guess it's not that much of an attention grabber, imo it kind of has a rugged look(the black one does) but now I know what route to go if I ever want to turn it into a white one =D

    Sure.

Also, what I did was contact the business that I decided to order from and simply ask, "Hey, I've got a black Blackberry Q10 that I want to convert to white. Do you have all of the necessary parts to make this happen?" They replied with an itemized list of everything. This was easier than trying to track down everything myself. Here it goes... if you have any detailed questions, just PM me:
OEM Blackberry Q10, Bezel Housing, MiddleFrame (listed as 'White' - but is actually metallic/silver)
OEM BlackBerry Q10, LCD Screen and Digitizer Assembly (White)
    OEM BlackBerry Q10, Keypad (White)
OEM Blackberry Q10, Battery Cover/BatteryDoor With NFC (White)
OEM Blackberry Q10, top cover/camera lens cover (White)
OEM Blackberry Q10, bottom cover (White)

Oh, it's a bit pricey. There's no doubt about it. But here's the crazy thing - over the course of one year, I'm still saving A LOT of money. Verizon's plan was double what I'm currently paying with TMobile. Double!

So if I wanted the White Q10, it's significantly cheaper going with TMobile and paying to modify the phone, than buying a White Q10 and being a Verizon subscriber.

Sure, that would have been cheaper - if you could find a white SQN100-5. Good luck with that.

Excellent!! Thinking on getting another Q10 from T-Mobile, convert it to white and give it to my girlfriend !

The thing is verizon now has prepaid monthly plans for 60 bucks for smart phones(including the q10). I considered that option but I wasn't sure I wanted a white one that bad. I had a white 9900 so I thought why not go with a black one this time around?
As a matter of fact the verizon q10s go for less than the tmobile ones but... I am on a 30 dollar a month plan. 5gb data/unlimited text and 100 mins of talk. I use skype to make calls so I never really waste my mins unless it's something super important.

    1. The device looks amazing! Way to go!

    2. I'm definitely considering this $30 plan. Not like I don't buy most of my devices off contract anyways. I'm just nervous about coverage. :-/
