Please update your profile to include device, carrier, and location. Makes it easier for others to help you.

I don't believe there is any such option on BB10 at this point.
Maybe we'll see that implemented at some point, as you're not the first person to request this.

One note for you: when you send a pic via BBM, the opposite is true. It's always compressed.
If you want to send a full image via BBM, the recipient must long press the image thumbnail in the BBM chat, then select HQ (for "high quality) from action menu on right.
