My Q10 is 5 or 6 months old. The F and J keys stopped typing for me today.
I took it to the device store, reboot and it worked long enough for me to get back to the office and it failed again.

Ideas?

Could be a defective keyboard. I hardly believe it is a software issue.

I would send it in for a repair (replacement).

If you feel like it, you could try to wipe the device and see if the problem goes away, but I doubt it.

I had an issue with the keyboard on my Q10 as well; the "w" key became so sensitive that it would tend to register every time I hit an "e". Not good. Currently out for warranty repair.

Sadly, it can happen.
