Managed to wash my q10 in washing machine so now doesn't work although nice and clean now! Is it possible to extract data from the blackberry back up at all as spoke to reincarnate blackberry but they said it only works on older blackberry? Thanks

Whatever "they" said doesn't even make sense but supposively companies that specialize in dada recover can recover files from a computer that's been in a fire so I would think that's it's possible for the right amount of money.

OP, have you tried restoring your Q10 backup to another Q10? Maybe there's a chance to restore it to another Q10 or BB10 device. The backup is not encrypted unlike the previous BBOS backups.

If I had another q10 I am sure it would work fine. The problem is I don't know anyone with a blackberry to restore it on so seeing if anyway to extract data at all as replaced with a Samsung galaxy
