Anyone using those Q10 battery case that extends the battery life of Q10? I'm looking for one that is not too bulky. Looking for alternative from using those external battery chargers + USB cable

i used to use an extended battery case for my Z10. I gotta tell you....although it helped with the battery, they are extremely bulky and heavy. I would think long and hard about getting one. Although i never had a Q10........

I use a Mugen 4400mah battery on my Q10. It is expensive at $100 including shipping, but if you get it, you basically do not have to worry about the battery during your day. The size of the battery is even bigger than the Passport's.

I use Bluetooth for my Pebble watch and audio streaming for a large part of the day. And I never have to worry about the battery life. I can do as much video watching, Skype, BBM, and calling as I want. And I just cannot kill the battery within one day.

Since Q10 already had a pretty good battery life to begin with, the extended battery just makes it a monster.

If you ever end up sleeping at your friend's place and not get to charge your phone over night, it will still be good the next morning.

The extra bulk of the battery only improves the grip I find. So I actually prefer the fatter phone.

The only thing I do not like is that I do not get to show off my BlackBerry logo in the back.

Dang that's big! Have you tested to see what's the max time that it will last and what's your usage? Medium, heavy, power user? Does it come in black? I wonder how hard it would be to glue on the  logo?

It also comes in black but I recommend you get the white version. I first had a black cover but I cracked it after a drop. The finish feels better in the hand. The black version comes with a thin grippy rubber coating that will get ripped off after a short while.

As for my usage.
I usually take the phone off the charger at around 6am, and put it back to charger at11pm. By then, I would have around 50% left.

I have a push sync for 1 email account, Facebook, and bbm.
Phone calls (30 mins)
Bluetooth
- connected with a Pebble watch 24/7
- audio streaming to my car audio for 2 to 3 hours on the way and back from work.
Video watching for about 30 mins to 1 hour total

All in all, I would say I am a medium user, since I do not use my Q10 other than for communication (not much video watching and no gaming).

I have done a full battery drain to calibrate the battery. I got around 1.5 days to 2 days. Even after the battery reaches "0%", it will still keep on going for another 6+ hours, so it is very hard to kill indeed.

Also keep in mind that my hands are bigger than average, so if you have pretty small hands, it could be different.
