Can anyone help? I always had the early version of evernote which was part of remember. I recently downloaded the new version from app world. Now I have 2 evernotes, one in reminder and one seperate. I am afraid to delete the remember one so as not to delete data. What should I do?

I deleted the Evernote in my Remember app. Didn't affect my data. Worked as it should.

Ok. I guess i'll try. Is there a way to create an evernote backup to be sure?

I think you can create a backup using the desktop version.

Exactly. If your Evernote is synced to a PC or Mac, then all your files are on that machine. If you want to be super sure, you could always disconnect that machine from the net while you zap Evernote out of Remember.

Just to be clear, don't delete the Evernote folders from within Remember. Go to the main phone Settings, Accounts, and delete the Evernote account from there. That will stop Remember from syncing with Evernote.

I did exactly what jem9777 laid out, I no longer have Evernote syncing with Remember, I just use the Evernote app. No problem.

No need for backup, Evernote is cloud based, everything is on Evernote's servers. Besides Remember and the Evernote app, you can also access Evernote through any browser.
But just like jem977 said, if you delete an Evernote synced Remember folder, you are deleting that Evernote notebook from the Evernote cloud servers
