Odd. Yesterday and today, my phone switched to emergency mode for no reason- charge was good and I was in range. This has happened in the past, but always bounced back. A restart fixes the issue, but I'm concerned as to why this is happening with my Q10

I called my service provider and they weren't much help. Said it could be the SIM card. I can't see how tbh. I've had the phone for six months. I'm perplexed. They said service was not interrupted on their end so I'm not sure what the problem is. He had me do a battery pull and said if it continues, to back up my phone and do a wipe and then re upload. That's a huge pain!

Anyone else have this issue? Did it get resolved?

Actually, it probably is the SIM card. I had to go through 4 of them before my Q10 picked up a signal. Well, that and the incompetence of AT&T

Same issue here - had to replace the SIM. Since then, I did have an instance where the phone was rapidly switching back and forth from emergency to normal. A reboot fixed that.

Thank you Bob for sharing this. If it happens again, I will go to Bell Mobility and get a new SIM card
