I recently received a second hand Q10 and could wait to put my sim and sd in and start using the phone.

I have both a Z10 and a Z30 and expected the door to act the same. I couldn't find any indention to place a finger nail, which was confusing. I starting prying and pulling around the charging and hdmi ports - it was the only slight indention I could find. I finally got the door to pry off (though I really thought it was going to snap in half or result in me flinging the phone across the room while trying). Once off, I noticed the hooks on the battery door were meant to be slid down - which is an extremely easy action. Boy did I feel silly. Never did I imagine that the battery door would be different!!

It was that, or losing a fingernail! Something was gonna give!

I did the same exact thing. I was really agitated with it and Googled how to do it since I thought I was going to break it.
