is there a dust cover for Q10 keyboard so you can use it when hands are dirty and to keep anything from getting down into the keys ? as I would be using it for work and wanting to keep it clean but still be able to use it.

The old Otterbox Defender series cases had the dust cover - I notice that the model for the Q10 doesn't have this feature...
I would like a complete case solution also - anyone have any insight? :-)

Otterbox discontinued the vinyl membrane with the Defender for the 9930 Bold. NO membrane. I moved over the one from my Tour and while it did not match exactly, it worked. So recently when that started to wear out, I found vinyl sheeting that was about the right thickness, used the Tour "diaper" as a template and created my own. Again, not a perfect fit and no embossing for the keys but it works generally. I've had no problems with typing on it.
I've noticed that the thicker frets in between the keys help with stopping dust build up on the keys, much better than the 9900 for sure.
That's a shame they discontinued the membrane - the Defender case for the 9780 was brilliant, the whole device was wrapped up tight (bar the trackpad).
That's a good hack with the vinyl! Maybe some heat sensitive membrane would mold easier? Though I'm guessing one wouldn't be able to remove it after... hmmmm...

As a temporary measure you can just keep it in a zip lock plastic baggy when you know you will be using it with dirty hands. That's what i do with my 9360 and everything works, even the track pad. Your touch screen might be different though?
I wish there was something that protects the keyboard in the market. Anybody found any?
