downgraded back to 10.2. but now LINK wont let me restore a backup?

Hi guys,

In the end i decieded that 10.3.1 wasnt for me as the more i sued the phone the more bugs i encountered so thought id downgrade back to 10.2 where i know everything is working fine, so i used an autoloader. and i backed up my device using LINK.

Now i successfully reinstalled 10.2 and i went to restore a backup i had made before the downgrade, and it comes up with a message saying I can only restore the MEDIA.

I mean, the media is the ost important part for me but im hoping all my installed apps are included in MEDIA?

I have encountered the same problem. A back up made on 10.3.1 is incompatible with 10.2...

Any backup made on a higher version (leak for example) is not compatible with a lower version of OS10

I have encountered same problem. Tried to go back to 10.2 but unsuccessfully. Even tried the tutorial from cb for making the backup again compatible..there is no coming back from 10.3.1

I don't remember where but I thought I saw a tool that will enable you to restore newer backups onto older OS versions... have you tried searching the forums?

Yeah turns out because it's a backup from a newer os. It lets you do it but it doesn't load correctly as I now have none of my old contacts. I've just bought and iPhone 5c so I'm gonna go back to 10.3.1 so that I can get all my contacts back and just forget about the wifi issue as I have the iPhone for wifi now. Damn what a cycle!
