I have had my Q10 for nearly two years. Initially, I didn't have any typing problems but about a year ago it developed a double typing problem. Eventually, the software upgrade solved the problem. However, in the past 30 days the double typing problem has returned.

Has anyone else had this problem go away and then return. If so, what is the solution?

replace the keyboard / buy a new Q10
seriously it's not that expensive nowadays and you are good to go witb an used one, so yea there you go.

Exactly. The keyboard will fix the problem. I went through two Q10 devices with typing problems. Keyboard exchange fixes the problem

Keyboard replacement is your only option, but it's inexpensive and there are very detailed YouTube videos that show you how to do it.

Loved my Q10 so much, but the double typing almost made me throw it against the wall! I couldn't deal with it! As soon as the Classic was released I got one quick! BlackBerry PKB has to be perfect. That's why you you have a BlackBerry in first place.

Mine has started double typing the letter O because it has become ultra sensitive.

I have already started to shop keyboards and like others said I will replace it if the sensitivity gets any worse.

10.3.2.2813 adds a bit more of a double type delay to the software algorithm. You may want to try that.

10.3.2.2876 dials it back a bit, so don't use it.

Just swap out the keyboard. It is $15 and 30 minutes of your time. I am on my fourth keyboard.

My Space bar key is not as responsive as before but that's about it in regards to double tying issues.

Replaced mine with the keyboard with orange symbols on the w e r s d keys (1 2 3 4 5) asy-50620-007.

Back up and works well, but I haven't been able to find out what these keys do.

That happened to me! Also, the space bar sticks.

Anyone know a reputable dealer for Q10 keyboards?
