After the latest official update DT in Q10 is gone
I didn't have DT before but triple, quadruple..
If anyone didn't notice it yet check it out and confirm here.

Me too - double typing is gone! BUT: time for the touchscreen to react on inputs seems to bee very slow. Does anyone recognize this too?

Yup and sometimes word predictions doesn't work when you click on it

With my Q10 the 'w' and 'shift' keys were sensitive so that you didn't even need to do a full press but more like a touch and it would trigger the key press. After the latest update (10.3.2.2474) I still have the same issue and DT for me has not gone away.

If the keys getting sensitive then it's a hardware issue, it has nothing to do with the software

I had the odd DT issue here and there. Now that people mention it, mine now does appear to be gone too.


For those Q10 owners who may have other Blackberry devices, has the update fixed the issue for others too?

Might be looking at a new Blue Classic or a Silver Passport and would hate to be stuck with a DT issue on a new gem like those.

Both. Not the case for all devices. Some is more likely to be hardware like the Q10 for example.

I have the same issue with my "A" key! Definitely a hardware thing and no update could fix this I'm guessing. I also have the DT issue as well as this so I'm curious to see if it fixes that...

Curves, it fixed my Q and my Classic. I'm actually back on my Q after the update.

I think the whole DT issue is hardware this update is just a bandaid approach to fixing it. It's just for my type of cut the bandaid doesn't fit. I guess it's 10 bucks on ebay for me.

I don't have much time for that, so I wil just use it, stil got Q5 and bold 9780 as my backup phone

My DT issue seems to be gone to, just before the update I tried to replace the keyboard but couldn't loosen the ultimate keyboard screw so reassembled it with old keyboard :P
