Firstly, I am well aware Wind's network does not have LTE. However, my friend wants to use it on Fido when in Canada, and on T-Mobile when in the states (hence the Wind version is desirable for him due to its AWS 3G band).

Wind's website says nothing about whether the phone itself has LTE or not. I know T-Mobile USA's variant does (1700 Mhz which Fido uses), but I just want to be sure. If someone can confirm this, my friend will buy a Wind variant off kijiji (and unlock it if needed).

Uh what? The SQN 100-1 doesn't have AWS HSPA+ so that cannot possibly be the Wind model...

I know that Wind has no LTE network. However, Wind does sell several phones with LTE chips (they just aren't usable when you connect to Wind). The Nexus 5 (when Wind gets it) is one example. So is the Galaxy S4 I believe.

My friend is interested in buying the Wind variant to use on another provider that's all.

So does the Q10 sold by Wind have an LTE radio or not? I'm betting it does but need confirmation.
