There seem to be lots of opinions here. I'm buying a Q5 with the hope that I can get Wi-Fi calling working on it.
I had Wi-Fi calling for Z10 (Purchased in the UK) with the US T-MO sim card.
Any links for Q10 OS that will work?

Q5 or Q10?
Q5 will likely never have WiFi Calling on T-Mobile since WiFi Calling is only included on official T-Mobile OS releases.
For the Q10, you can use WiFi Calling right now on 10.1, and when T-Mobile releases their WiFi Calling enabled 10.2.1 update next month you should be fine with that one, too.
If you update to a leaked OS or one from another carrier, you WILL lose WiFi Calling.
Yes wi-fi calling will only be available once T-Mobile implements it into their official 10.2.1 release in March.

The Q5 is working fine in the UK with Tmobile USA wifi calling. Just installed a 10,1 OS.
The Wifi calling is built into the general Blackberry firmware, it only activates with a Tmobile Sim.
Good to know.
THX !
I know. Isn't it crazy when idiots like the guy above me speak with such authority on a subject they know nothing about?

What do you want a cookie for being partly right. No need to call people names.
I agree. No need for name calling...
Also I don't know where the poster was incorrect since the OP did have to install an official 10.1 OS release for it to work.
ICBW, but I think he was saying that since the Q5 is not offered by T-Mobile, it would not come with a stock T-Mobile official release installed.
Using Sachesi it's possible to install the 10.1 release. Hence; WiFi calling works with a T-Mobile SIM.
Is there a 10.2.1 release for T-Mobile that has WiFi calling? I would love to get that installed on my Q5. I thought i did it before but I might have made a mistake. Has anyone installed that yet? Can someone give some steps on how to do it?
