It would be far better if BB10 itself had a global setting for Dark and Light theme that worked in every native app, settings screen and popup dialog box that currently uses black text on a white background.

There's no theme support in BB10 but this would be the next best thing for those of us who hate staring at eye straining white backgrounds, and those of us who like to use our phones at night in dimly lit rooms.

Light theme. After a few minutes on dark my eyes start to hurt and my eyes can't focus on things. Ever tried reading a website on a computer with black background and white letters? My eyes start rolling and hurting when switching back to white screen with back letters. Headache galore! Light theme it is for me.

I am running os 10.2. Have the dark theme for SMS, BBM and calendar. But I was wondering if you can change the settings screen to dark as well.

I think the dark theme for settings is for the Q10 (and possibly Z30) because of the AMOLED screen. If you're using a Z10, it sounds like you're out of luck.

Black is way cool,Nice to have the option as well. Saving battery though is key as a q10 is designed for heavy users. You cannot get much done if your battery is dead

Dark is easier on the eyes and head when you have a migraine. So dark is better for me if I could have all dark, with white letters it'd be perfect!

I like the dark theme. My wife doesn't get as annoyed when I'm in bed with my Z10 (soon to be Z30).

I like the dark for the same reason!!! Otherwise my phone lights up the whole room :-)

I love black because I love battery life.

It's also easier on the eyes and looks cooler
