I saw a lot of good news on 10.3.1 n I m eagerly need it. The UI is abit different n I like the new function. My questions are,

    1. Any known bugs that I need to aware?
    2. When install, it will reset all my data?
    3. When The official release is out, do I need to reinstall again?
    4. Anyone can send the link on how to install the leak?

    Thanks.

Personally my Q10 felt very buggy after loading the 10.3.1 dev leak. Camera would freeze a lot. Music app was buggy. BB World was buggy. Currently reverting to 10.3.0.1052.

I felt the leakversion is unstable. That's why I am still considering to load it. Where can I get the link to install?

Personally I wait for the official updates. When BlackBerry says they're ready and my carrier pushes them out. That's just me though

If it's your main phone, wait for the official release. That's all.

I am running the leak on my Q, some minor bugginess, but nothing that keeps the phone from being a great daily driver.

You can download the leak in the first post of the 10.3.1 leak thread, in the leaked os forum.

I have the 10.3.0.1154 leak on two Z10s and one Q10. No lagginess, no issues. I used the autoloader and did not restore from backup.

I just got my Q10 so I'm waiting for the official just to be safe. I use my phone for business mostly so I don't want to mess with anything until I get the notification to update. I'll just have to be patient.

    1. Official has not been released yet. So since this is not final, expect some things not to work as you'd expect.
    2. Yes, that's why you should always back up important data.
    3. Totally depends on Release number, but if you install official release, no.
    4. Normally, links are posted on the forums here, along with installation instructions.

I upgraded my Q10 to 10.3 and didn't like it; not to mention there were buggy items. So I re-installed 10.2 and am quite happy with what I have. Your mileage may vary, however.

As long as the app is compatible with the new OS, i.e. not using AIR, and is listed in your available or installed apps, you should be good to go.

Also, I would not recommend loading the leaked Dev OS (the one I am currently using) because it has several bugs, as expected. If you need a device that is very stable, I would pass on this one.

I would wait for the official. Why bother installing a leak, unless you have plenty of time to do it and dont care the problems it comes with. That is your choice, of course.

I have always prefer to wait, wait and wait. Something to which we are accustomed by blackberry. They give the sweet candy to new users rather to legacy and loyal users. Then they wonder how come they are loosing market share.
