I am particularly interested in the Google+, Google Maps and GMail app. At this point are you able to install these official Google Android apps on the Blackberry Q10 and run them like you would any normal app and without issues? Does the 1:1 (720X720) aspect ratio cause any troubles with the on-screen layout, scrolling etc.?

Google maps work fine. Gmail too, but it's even better to use the browser since that's even faster than the app (bb10 browser rocks!). Haven't tried google plus. But there's alternatives to that in the appworld.

What are some alternatives to Google Plus app? I use Google Plus primarily to automatically backup my camera roll and share pictures with family (everyone has a gmail account). That is my number one use for Google+. Are there any Google+ apps that do automatic photo roll backup on Blackberry Q10?

Not that I know of to be honest. Automatic backup is a breeze though. Bot the native BOX and Dropbox integration support it.

I would second Box or DropBox.

Google Maps works fine. Pretty sure Google+ doesn't work. Haven't tried GMail as I've always preferred to have my mail in the native hub.

Generally speaking - do all apps work? No. Do most non game apps work? For me, and the ones I've tried, yes. Biggest problem is the 1x1 ratio, but that comes out more in minor annoyances than showstoppers. Not the Q10's fault - just that developers didn't design their apps in a way that foresaw that ratio.

Tried installing Google+ via snap. Doesn't play well cause it needs the GooglePlayServices. So Google+ is a no.

The mobile website works great btw.

Some apps do work if you install play services. You can do so using 1mobile appstore.

Some of them still don't work, after that, sadly enough.
