People exaggerate how bad the cameras are. It's the software focusing the camera that needs work and low light needs enhancements.

Great shots by both phones. I may have missed it, but did you zoom any? To me, that's where the Q pulls slightly ahead.

No zooming for either of us. I may have been a bit closer on some shots. My girl tends to keep the phone really close to her eyes (like a point'n'shoot) whereas I go almost arms length at times with my thumb on the spacebar. I did play it as fair as possible. I should have remembered to wipe both lenses but at least I forgot both of them. I also showed my girl that on iPhone she can focus by tapping where she wants to on the screen and made sure she used the feature because I knew I would. I was surprised she didn't know she could do that. glad you like the photos.

I really actually agree. I think it really needs some software enhancements to make people think otherwise. But they should also up the specs a bit on the next generation or face yet more scrutiny.

I'm pretty satisfied with the q10's camera, it could be better but for a phone it's great, I use my camera if I need outstanding pictures.

Q10 picture is actually good if you know how to use it. It's the same thing with dslr no matter if your own pro dslr if you dunno what you're doing it you're better off with point and shoot.

Yes of course. I think the specs will be upped for the upgrade models.

agree 100%, pixels are just for the size of the image, when is the sensor that really matters for the quality and different environments.

Gorgeous photos. I have the Z10 and am.happy with the camera. My Q10 is arriving Thursday. Hoping I will b happy with the camera too. Then again, I have a photography background and was able to take great photos on my Bold 9900 when a lot of people were complaining about it. Used some of the photos as wallpaper on laptop and still looks great. Printed out and great too.

I've said this on another thread we have to clear the point that it isn't always about the megapixels.

The camera stinks from a competitive perspective. It does a decent job with close ups. Generally poor with others, unless the lighting is very favorable. Disappointing to say the least.
