Hi. I would to ask what is the real diference between phone password or phone encryption in blackberry q10. It seems to be same in the end.
Password protection delete all files after someone try 10 times wrong password.
If is phone ecrypted , files cant be readable until you know encryption password.
Is there any other advantages or disadvantages between both protections ?

They are just different things.... and it really depends on how worried you are about someone (a goverment) getting your data. If not locked and encrypted, someone could take your phone apart and pull the data from memory.

Advantage.... a layer of protection

Disadvantage.... may use a little more processing power, thus energy and CPU time.... but probably not really noticeable.
