    Hello Everyone,

I woke up this morning and noticed my BB Q10 has a box open with 'Device Pin Blocked', and the EMEI number. I can't do anything else with the phone then dial an emergency number.

I have looked on this forum and most say this is a device reported as stolen. I have bought this phone on an online retail store here in Belgium (not by a provider), called 'Coolblue', and the package was sealed. I have contacted them but they said I should go by the store to get the phone checked..I don't live close to a store from them so I'd like to have another solution first, because I know they'll have to take the phone back in for 3 weeks, and I need a phone for work...

    So, what to do?

    Thanks for the help!

This happened to me as well - brand new z10, I swapped sim cards and got the dreaded message. Had to send BlackBerry an e-mail and they called me and got it fixed, very good service. They said that when swapping sim cards something in their infrastructure must have 'snapped' and locked the phone.

I tried that number for Belgium, but it doesn't exist. This number was also on their website.
Thanks for the help, in the end I brought the phone back to the shop, they have to send it back to BB now, 4 weeks at least without my BB, all because of some person decided to type in a wrong number and blocked my phone instead of a stolen one. I feel like I have all the luck in the world
