    I have been having weird issue where if I click a link or a button on a web page using the browser app, I hear this faint clicking sound. Now I can replicate it pretty clearly.

    I have also tapping on the screen when the screen is off or when I am using a different app, but I don't hear the sound then.

    I am really confused as to what is going on. It is a tiny creaking sound near the keyboard area when the link is clicked.

    I am hoping it is not a hardware issue.

    Anyone else with similar problems?

    If it was a hardware issue, ie. something loose you would certainly here it when in other apps or even when the device was off..

    Without hearing the sound you hear it's hard to say what it is.. the browser does make a tone when a link is clicked.. it's similar to the tap sound of the virtual keyboard.. not really a creaking though..

    Okay I disabled the audio feedback on the browser and it is now fine.

    I don't have any creaking sound in the browser.

    Honestly, I don't even know what the function is for the audio feedback.
