1. Most pictures that show up in favorites for a contact no longer appear even though they do appear when you open up the individual contact.
2. Phone app. Many names don't show up for numbers in list of dialed calls. For example, instead of showing "Mary Sue" it shows 555-636-2589, which would be Mary sues number. How to fix these problems?

I don't think there is a way to be honest.
My contact's names showing up and their pictures are hit and miss after loading 10.3
Unless you want to reload the OS I say it's a hit and miss thing. I would be interested to know if someone else has found a solution. But judging by the length of time this has been here, I wonder if anyone really has.
Are you using AT&T's address book or another?
