Hello

First of all i synced my contacts from Gmail then my phone book got very messed up ! couple of names was copied twice or even more and was linked with facebook and the whole thing is missed up so i deleted my account on facebook
! and copied all of them to the sim card and then imported them back into the phone
now its fine (the phone book ) but i have another problem with the call log !
lets say i made a call to "Dad" after i end the call it shows in the log
but when i close the app and re open it i only see the number with no name ?

any idea ?

I wish I could remember how to fix this. I think you need to check contacts and then check the linked accounts. You may have to edit or make a new one and link the two together. Not sure this makes sense. I have had that issue but forget what I did to fix it. I have had so many battles with my contacts hard to remember what all I did.

well if anyone is having an issue here is a quick trick that worked for me !

1- Sync all your contacts from Gmail
2- Copy all your contacts to your Sim card
3- Un-Sync Gmail contacts and delete all your phone book (except the sim)
4- Import Sim card contacts to phone
5- Delete Sim card contacts and keep local only
6- Clear call logs


yeah i know its such a hustle but it seem to be working fine with me now !
