I have a Q10 and my work email is hosted by Microsoft 365.
Until the update my contacts synced flawlesly
I just did the update this morning and now my work contacts that syncs with my outlook aren`t showing.
I tried to change the settings in the accounts section and that didn`t solve it as well i turned off all other contacts to see if that was an issue.
I deleted and re-added that account, then rebooted and everything seems have come back but my contacts.
    Anyone have any thoughts

I have the same issue with my Q10- and the only contacts that appeared are from BBM. Gmail, Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter- none appear...

Turn Contact syncing off, restart the device and then turn it on again. Does it show now?

Also, as a test, turn off cellular, remain on WIFI, turn Contact sync off and then back on. See what happens.

Thanks for the suggestion- but where can I turn contact syncing off? I could not find such an option.

BTW, I have been on WiFi, so maybe I should try cellular for a change???

Turning Contact sync on or off should be in your email account setting. Go to settings - accounts and find your email account. And yes, try cellular...

I have the same issue, using a hosted exchange solution which has worked fine to date. Have tried the suggested fixes but no luck so far

Same issue with a Z10. Worked fine with hosted Exchange until the 10.2.1 update. Not some contacts are missing on the Z10 but still appear on my Exchange server.

I have exactly the same issue. I have tried this on two Exchange accounts, Office 365 (work account) and another Hosted Exchange 2010 (private account). The contacts start to sync, but continuously get stuck at around 250 contacts of almost 700. I have tried it on both accounts, tried all the suggested remediations (deleting accounts, different connectivity mediums, giving it 48 hours plus, etc), with no luck. This first appeared when trying the 10.2.1 beta some time ago after which I had to roll back several times, because of this issue. Hoped it was fixed in official release, but no luck. Now having to revert to manually syncing via BB Link...

OK, so I have been doing some work on this. There is definitely a field mapping issue between BB contacts and Exchange contacts. I did the manual BB Link sync of contacts. That did NOT pull over all contacts to BB. So I reset the Link sync after making a backup of contacts and deleted from Exchange. Then I tried to sync again via BB Link, which now tried to pull the few contacts from BB to Exchange. I got some error that some field mapping was not successful! Unfortunately I did not take notes of exact error.

So I followed advice from earlier in thread and exported contacts to CSV. I also did some cleanup of contacts and removed all data that looked like it could cause issues (such as operator shortcuts in number fields - *121# as an example). So I ended up with a clean CSV, just containing names, numbers, email addresses, birth dates, etc. I imported this into Exchange Contacts and enabled Contacts sync again in the account on BB. I am pleased to report, that so far, I have synced 597 of 695, where previously it got stuck around the 245 mark! Hope this helps!

I have a similar problem with bizarre behaviour with my contacts. They take ages to search, they don't pop up when the phone rings, there are multiples of the same contact.

Is there a simple way to delete all contacts? If I were to reset the phone how do I avoid the problem reoccurring? I have about 1500 contacts and cleaning them individually would take forever.

I had issues after I updated to OS 10.2 yesterday morning. I removed my Gmail account and then added the account again. Took about 2 hours but then everything was synced again.

I got a Q10 when they first came out over a year ago. This problem was so annoying, I returned it and got an iPhone 5. Yesterday, after missing my Blackberry so much, I got a brand new Q10. Have a Google Apps email account using MS Exchange to sync contacts and all. Gets hung up at 250 of 1800. When I enter my LinkedIn account that has over 2,000 contacts, all of them are imported with no problem at all.

Please tell me there is a solution for this problem! I'd hate to return the Q10, again!!

Funny thing is when I bought Q10 3 days ago it was loaded with 10.1 and I had problems setting up email and syncing contacts from Google. When I updated to 10.2 all problems were gone.
