Is there a way to clear the 'history' of typed phrases? I type a lot of 'hahah' and other misspelled things and I'd rather it predict something else than something I've typed before.

Any help would be great

You can do so, but it will clear all learned words in one shot.
Settings > Language and Input > Prediction and Correction. Scroll to bottom and tap "Clear Learned Words".

No worries. Just be prepared to teach your device a bunch of words all over again. If you have any specific or technical terms you use frequently, you can always add them under Word Substitution. That makes life easier, since word sub doesn't get scrubbed if you ever need to clear learned words again.
