Can't really say much that would help. If you are following the instructions properly, and it fails, then you're out of luck. One can only hope that you are not in fact following the instructions properly - in which case you would have to be far more detailed for us to have any hope of diagnosing the problem.

You may have a large number of nice paper weights....

Many prototypes would not install updates... if your not running a newer version of BB10, I'd try an autoloader on it.

Of course in a couple of weeks BBW will be gone and the whole BBID system gone... not having BBW now isn't a bad thing really.
