Can anyone help me on how to delete emails now? When trying to it a box comes up with cancel or delete each time and it won't let you delete the email?

Have you tried just giving it a simple reboot and seeing if that addresses the problem? If you just update the OS, things might still be synching and settling in and as such emails as still being pushed around and not really responding to the commands.
