I unlocked my Q10 and used a SIM card from a phone provider when I went for a vacation. The phone worked well. Now that I am back, my Q10 wont accept my Rogers' SIM card which the phone was originally locked to! Its saying "Device Not Allowed MM#6".

Rogers and Blackberry (RIM) are saying that theres nothing they can do! Now I am thinking that the only way to get my phone to accept the SIM card from Rogers is to lock it back to Rogers! Any advice on how to do so? Thx

i'd try getting a new rogers sim card before you looked into relocking it, if that's even possible?

My guess is that Rogers did not look at your provisioning closely enough. MM6 means the SIM is disabled or the device is reported lost placing a block on the service. That error message is also indicated on services that get upgrades and the SIMs that are being sent out are already activated in error.

all phones can be relocked using essentially the same process for unlocking. rogers rep demoed for us during training. not that you can do ityourself. it is code driven as well.

You're saying that if I take it to Rogers, they then can relock the phone?
