    I want this phone. My BES 9900 works great. But it is corporate issued.

    If I buy retail Q10, and get a new Sim from AT&T with my number, will I just have to resync with server for BES to be active?

    Main thing is AT&T plans - meaning I have hotspot/tether and 4G but my device isn't LTE. Do they charge different for that?

    I don't think it would work that way as bb10 devices need BES10 to be used. I'm not 100% sure though.

    Quick answer is no, the old phone is on the bes, if your company hasn't updated their server you will not be able to access anything with the q.

    This has happened to me as I couldn't wait to get the z and have been without corporate access since Feb lol.

    I can't answer to the att plans as I'm I'm Canada. I'm sure someone else will have the answer for you.

    Got it. Thanks. Guess I will have to wait or use OWA or EAS. Waiting gets me a free one in Feb. 2014. But I sure want it now...
