I'm so excited I can't wait to trash my Z10 and come back to the qwerty phone! The reviews for Q10 so far have been very well received. Whereas the Galaxy S4, it has been getting a lot of criticism for being cheap plastic, too many bloatwares, as well as gimmicky useless features. Samsung's Touchwiz OS is basically crap. Thoughts?

Not a chance... at least in the US or worldwide. Possibly in Canada. Actually I doubt the Q10 and Z10 combined will out sell the S4. Does that mean the S4 is a better phone in my opinion? No. It just means that is a very established brand with a huge marketing budget.

Are you kidding? It Q10 can sells just 10% of S4, it will be a big deal.

Q10 doesn't need to outsell S4 or Iphone5. It just needs to pull in those keyboard BlackBerry addicts who would not buy anything without a real keyboard.

Not happening... This phone is for a niche group, i will be getting it as well, but it wont outsell samsung. May take like 2 years for people to start coming back in big numbers...

In absolute numbers, I don't event think BlackBerry can produce enough Q10 even of the demand miraculously jump! But if we adjust for the current userbase for smartphone... I think it stands a chance!

Of course!... Not. Most people at my high school think keyboards are ancient. They also don't know how to type on them because they think the keys are too small. Just the format factor alone will keep people buying more S4's and iPhone 5's.

Google play vs Blackberry world enough said.

Now if Blackberry can even convert 10% over someone choosing a SG4 they will be in good shape. But honestly the Q10 is way overpriced even though it's their bread and butter.

I walked into a Verizon store today. Not one single person was buying the Samsung G4.
I ask the clerk how many of the G4 did he sell this week, and he said zero.

That's because the Galaxy S4 is still in the pre-order stage...

BlackBerry will have value phones if you can't afford the best ones. Don't worry.

I think that he was mocking the analyst that did that with the Z10.

Analyst said he walked into a Verizon store and saw now one buying the BlackBerry Z10. (This was back in March when the Z10 was not released in the USA yet.)

Yah, Samsung is almost to the point of Apple where they can release a turd wrapped in aluminum foil and people will buy it. So, no, not a chance in hell...

I believe it is predicted by the tech world that the s4 will be the most sold phone of all time. So probably no chance for the q10.

The galaxy s3 was sold more often than every BlackBerry device together in 2012.

So with Samsung as the new market leader, blackberry cannot outsell the S4 even if you re taking the Q10 and Z10 together.

On the other hand is the question if the S4 could outsell the "New" Ifony... that will happen!

    Haha no way man.

The Q10 is basically a niche phone at this point. There is a large niche for sure, but niche phone nonetheless. No WAY it's outselling the S4.

Like Baskin Robins has 31 flavors, Blackberry sales and experience can only improve with Q10 added to Z10. I am sure we can all get along post Q launch. I have spent years with hard keyboards and have a couple of 9900s to sell now. I for one, love the Z10 typing experience. It always seems to know the words that I want and can't quite type correctly.

Unfortunately, nope, I cannot see that happening. At least here in Canada, S4 is so popular that Telus is offering pre-order buyers up to $100 credit if they are willing to wait 2 weeks for delivery as Telus is not able to ship out stock fast enough!

It's tough. All phone sales reps I've talked to told me that everyone who has purchased the Z10 are people who owned BlackBerrys. I think you have a better chance at aiming toward the owners of the lower end Android phones.

Ain't happening. As nice as the Q10 is, the era of the hardware keyboard is coming to an end. It's becoming more of a niche market with each passing day.
