Because of the double-typing issues, I am thinking of buying from Verizon.
Down side is it will cost be 400.00

Just thinking I would get better support if I have issues.

ebay purchase is around 250.00 for new, so about 150.00 more.

    What do you think?

If the device is NEW from the ebay store/seller, yes, you can roll the dice. Warranty support will be the issue.
IF the ebay unit is still factory sealed, then you have a high probability of being the owner of a happy Q10. That may be worth the 150 to you. If the device is "new", but has/was been activated, the warranty clock started there.

If you go thru VZW, you have 14 day direct exchange for a replacement if issues are found with the device. Plus easy (er) warranty servicing for 1 year from activation.

This is what I was thinking, 150.00 for peace of mind.

my only other choice was to spend a 100.00 more and get the moto x.
but I kind of like BB10 vs hands free.

    Any opinions on this combo?

Verizon wont help anymore than anyone else.

I would buy from ebay and get a squaretrade warranty if there is an issue.

Or I would just buy from ebay at $150-$200 and learn to replace a keyboard IF the problem arises. Ill gamble with $200 on an IF.

Why not an insurance policy from a third party? Up to you really. The actual carriers don't do much for you anymore these days.
