    Hi.
i'm willing to buy Q10 in the next month " feb " , what do you think ? is it a good idea ?
i have now moto g and i want a qwerty keyboard and q10 will be my first bb mobile

do you think i should wait and get classic or just buy the q10 ?
and the most important thing !!! the support
is blackberry like android after a year they will not support the device anymore ??
if yes , is there any developers that can update the system like android ??

    Thank you.

I just moved from Sony Z2 to Q10, and I am loving it. No regrets on moving to BlackBerry as all the apps that don't exist in BlackBerry World you can download via Snap or the Play Store. Or from Amazon's App store.

As for Q10 or Classic, the cpu, ram, gpu are the same. The only diff is that the Classic is slightly larger so the keyboard is slightly bigger and easier to type. The screen on the Q10 is OLED and the Classic is LCD. OLED has better colours but can be hard to read in direct sunlight. LCD has less colour saturation but you can read the screen in bright sunlight better. Having said that, I have not encounter any problems reading the screen on my Q10 outside.

The screen on the Classic is slightly bigger but it displays the same amount of the page as the smaller Q10 screen. Your fonts are slightly bigger on the Classic but in the end, it's neither here nor there, so there is not too much difference.

If you want something small, compact, light and easy to carry; go the Q10. If you want a larger keyboard and the BlackBerry toolbelt, then go the Classic. But coming from Android, you are use to touchscreen, so the toolbelt will be a throwback for you.

    Hope this helps.

I came from an android phone to the Q10 as well. Do it! It is so worth it
Also, this phone is several years old and they're rolling out a new OS update for it next month. BlackBerry never abandons their user base, that's why there are so many loyal customers.

If u want a qwerty device then q10 is the best phone. Classic is good but it have same specs but still classic is of double the price of q10. So q10 wins in price department.
I have a q10 and love this device. If u had never had used a bb10 phone before than when u will use your q10, u will definitely going to love this because of this os. Bb10 os is the best among all. It just lack number of native apps. Other than apps, the os is best.
And blackberry will definitely going to provide updates for q10. So dont worry about that.
If you can live with a small screen than believe me this is the best phone on the market. Go for it.

If you have tried the physical keyboard and you don't mind the smaller square screen you will probably like the Q10, if it is your first BB device then you won't really mind not having the toolbelt I assume.

The Q10 has almost the same specifications as the Classic so I think the support will be fine, it also has a smaller footprint with a removable battery for half the price I think it is a much better deal compared to the Classic unless you really need a bigger device/screen.

My last Android device was a Nexus 5 but I wanted something more business orientated and efficient so I had some other Blackberry OS 10 devices after that before I ended up with the Q10 and I have never looked back, I love the operating system it is much more efficient compared to android.

If you value security, durability and a more enterprise focussed device over having the latest specifications and candy crush hype then go for a BB10 by all means.

I purchased the Q10 last month and do recommend it. The Z30 is my daily driver as I need all day battery life. If you text and email a lot it's a great device. Another advantage to the Q10 is its size. It easily fits into pockets and it's lightweight.

My Q10 lasts all day on me the Z30 did a little under 1,5 day but with the removable battery of the Q it's not really a big deal for me, didn't your Q10 get you through the day?

I like my Passport but it is way to big/wide as a daily driver for most people and really awkward in one handed operations if you don't have huge hands.

The Q10 would not last all day, I had to charge in the afternoon.

Q10 lasts maybe 36/48 hours for me because I don't use it a lot. But i'm a bit disappointed about battery life on it. If I use it a little more, it lasts 1 day, where my 9700 lasts 4/5 days. Except that, this phone is really great.

Q5 = better battery life, and the price is likely right now. Runs 10.3.1 like a champ (just blitz'd with the latest 2072). A sorely overlooked phone that surpassed all my expectations.

I haven't seen a single report of a double typing issue on the Q5.

Q10 has the best proportions of any BlackBerry released to date. It has some hardware flaws though. Double typing and a poorly designed battery compartment where it is susceptible to resets.

I love the thing if not for the fatal flaws above. Classic is porky.

I switched few weeks ago from an iPhone back to BB. I bought a brand new Q10 on eBay for $160.
I have all the apps I could want, the device works flawless and battery life is more than day of heavy usage.
BUT the screen is pretty tiny and the camera is average at best. As a communicator still unbeatable though.

I have not used a Classic yet, but I'm concerned the trackpad would be in the way of the screen gestures.
And why pay almost 3 times for pretty much the same phone plus .4" of screen?

    Just saying.

Suppose it depends on how one uses it. Mine easily lasts all day, and I start the day at 0520.
