Browser address bar, can you scroll left?

If you're at a website with a long url but want to see the full hostname/domain you're on you need to see the far left of the url, ie: http://somemachine.somedomain.com/somedirectory?.....

I can't figure out how to get my cursor all the way to the left, is it possible?

Tap on the URL until the bubble/cursor for text shows up then move it to the right of your screen towards the end of the URL. It should scroll.
