I had a Moto x 2014 for about a month before getting a used q10 as a backup phone. It's fun using the q10 and the form factor is so much nicer than the slippery beast that is the Moto x. Android is really nice though and I find myself going back and forth. If I can get some key google apps working ie. mainly hangouts I would switch completely.

This is not a perfect solution, but in a bind, this app can get you your Hangouts fix.

Recently bought iphone 5s, but after few days, I don't think I will abandon Q10.

Typing on iphone got me headache especially for long emails..

Now trying to use both phones as work (Q10) and entertainment/social apps (iphone 5s) combination..

i bought my Q10 just over a year ago - an opportunity came my way and traded my beloved 9700.

so i swapped the Q10 to my daily driver and my iPhone 5s has a data only sim for multimedia.

Sounds like you've got a great solution. The Q10 is a great little messenger phone.

Work with the strengths of each platform. The Q10 is hard to beat for text-heavy environments.

Previous employer issued me an iphone 4s, and I did try to like it. I really did, but when it was time to give it up, I happily did so. Couldn't tolerate the interface.
