Hi all,

I just got my Q10 and tried doing a device switch but it kept asking for a password that I have not yet set up on the device. I tried punching in my usual passwords as I would have on my previous BB but it wiped out my phone - luckily, I didn't have much on it yet.

Has this happened to others?

So you were using the device switch option, and entering the SAME password that you used on your previous BlackBerry, and Link wouldn't accept it?

I didn't do a full switch. I just logged into Gmail and it synced my contacts and tasks, calendar etc. However, I did resolve it after wiping it. After the wipe, I immediately created a pw, that way when I do a switch or sync, it'll just be my pw I initially set up.
