I love my BlackBerry q10 but what annoys me is how weak the bluetooth signal is compared to the iphone's signal. Whenever I'm in my car and my passenger has their bluetooth turned, her signal gets picked up before mine. Now I know this isn't my q10s problem because the same issue occurs when I have my z10. And it's not only my car but my wireless speaker at home. Her 6s gets picked up faster/first than mine. Any way to improve strength?

I don't understand why this is happening with your device(s). Have you paired your Bluetooth with your friend's devices for some reason? If so, then simply remove the devices that aren't your own from the list of devices that your devices are permitted to pair to and that should (in my thinking) solve this issue.

Usually there is a priority level with which device is picked up. Just like with WiFi connections. I bet her phone is higher up on the connection level that yours.

6s has a lot more processing power then a Q and Z, so that one or two second advantage makes a difference. I opened up the Text app on my Z10 today and it took 5 seconds. It may also have the do with the iPhones updated bluetooth specs 4.2 compared to 4.0 on the Z10.
