Dont worry you can install whatsapp for Android, i recomend you to install the 2.12.509 versi�n for Android, it is fully working, New updates have some issues, you cant send file for example, hopefully that Will be Fix it later On. And whatsapp for bb10 maybe wont stop working On the end of 2016, but you wont get any support, updates or New features.

Could you explain to me (and other users) how signing a petition in an attempt to coerce a developer to continue to support an OS that is not scheduled to be supported for much longer by the company that owns that OS is going to make a difference to Blackberry regarding development and sales of another BB10 device?

Like you I agree it might not make a difference but if 10 million persons signed it would make a statement to Whatsapp and certainly Blackbbery. You never know. What is sure is doing nothing will certainly accomplish nothing.

BB10 is going the way of Symbian and WebOS. Don't expect most developers to keep supporting it forever. The obvious solution in your situation is to buy a PRIV or go with another platform that you know for certain WhatsApp will support.

Hi,
Been using Blackberry for over 10 years, currently got Q10, was about to change to BB Classic but heard Whats app will not be supporting it end of 2016 so tried out the following phones and hated them all!:
-Samsung S7 edge: phone was massive compared to Q10, so returned it
-Samsung S7: phone was beautiful , not a massive fan of android, no BB hub and poor email comms
-BB Priv: phone is WAY to big and takes alot to get used to.
-Iphone (all of them): never been a fan, do not like the openness and easy access to everything on there.

Does any one know if there is a new BB coming out soon which will be similar to Q10 or BB classic in the near future? After 10 years of using blackberry qwerty keyboards and the new current BB10 software. I love it and would do ANYTHING to stay with it and not change to other OS and phones.

So..? I've used Bbm far before WA was born... what's the deal?? #gotohellwa..!!
