Yeah but you'd have to get approved for the dev alpha c and not have swapped for the Z10 LE...

I'm beginning to think that BlackBerry made a strategic error in leading with the Z10 over the Q10, or at least in having such a lag time between the releases of the two models. I hope I'm wrong, but if I'm in any way a typical BB user than I'm not wrong.

9900 looks nicer in my opinion. And it has been a very good phone to me, so I will not upgrade without taking a spin on the confusing-looking BB10.

The demand for Q10 is inelastic. If you want a physical keyboard, you're going to pick up a Q10. The serious "business" users are generally preferential towards the keyboard. It makes sense for the company to get the quirks of BB10 ironed out before launching what is basically their flagship phone, the one they've built a reputation around.

I didn't realize just how similar in design those devices are. I was originally not liking the Q10 but it has grown on me. The Bold still looks really nice with the silver around the edge.

Trackpad makes this a must buy.
No trackpad makes it a much easier pass for the Z10.

Couldn't agree more. I'm on a 9780 which I love, never really fell in love with the look of the 9900 but this Q10 looks amazing. I wonder if it's the all black thing that draws my eye? Or the more robust edge profile? Anyway, it looks killer. Can't wait to get this phone!

I disagree. The 9900/9930 may look a little dated compared to the Q, but the build quality definitely is more apparent. The metal surround and metal buttons look more quality than a plastic case phone. That metal trim has saved mine on more than one occasion. I like the Q, but to me and several in my office, it's the cheaper looking phone.

What are you talking about? Only the buttons are made of plastic. The only difference is that the metal is now black.
