I have a strange issue with the battery the phone will shut down sometimes even if the battery shows 15 percent remaning and sometimes I will go down till 1 percent and then die. I have recycled the battery but the same issues keeps coming up the battery will die anytime it crosses the 20 percent deadline

Maybe it's time to go buy a new battery. How old is the phone battery?

I recently read an article about cell phone batteries. They have a chip for a lack of a better term that let's the phone know how much juice is in the battery And can give false readings, if I remember correctly it said to completely drain the battery to the point the phone shuts off and leave the phone off until the battery is completely charged back. If that doesn't correct it it's probably due for a new battery those phones are about two years old now
