No, BB10 updates are still tied to the carrier.

The exception is that with an unlocked BB10 device, you may be able to remove your SIM card, restart, and then receive the highest update direct from BlackBerry for your device model.

Does that actually work? Some1 confirm please?

My carrier (3 sweden) does NOT (as far as i know) support bb, so no updates.

I bought (waiting for it 2 ship) it unlocked.

Download an autoloader for OS10.3.1.2582. And install it on your phone.
