    Has anyone run across this? Every few days I do a sync and see the red asterick by software update. At first I'd get my hopes up for 10.2, but every time it is for the same 10.1.0.2030 that I already have! I figure why not, it's just 30 seconds so I do it.

    What I don't get is WHY the link keeps doing it....

    Oops, my mistake! I have a Q10, STILL waiting for ATT to let us have 10.2

    Do you by any chance delete any of the carrier pre installed apps? I know brings up an os update notification.

    I hadn't tried that. Every time I sync facebook, twitter, instagram and foursquare reappear. I keep deleting them as I have ZERO interest in using them and dislike getting notifications in the hub wasting my time looking for possible important stuff just to see an update for one of these programs...

    BTW, is there a way to permanently get rid of them so I don't waste device memory storage on them?
