I hope someone can help-have tried most things to get them to talk to each other-signed out of bb id, rebooted, turned off wif, turned off firewall-all suggestions online but still no success ! It's now driving me mad...

did you try to REMOVE the device from Link? what helps me (using MAC) is to specify the USB to read connect to MAC, instead of autoconfigure.

settings > storage and access > access to storage

You might have defective usb cord/port
It takes time before you q10 is recognized, mine took like 5mins.


Did you install blackberry link from your phone?

I installed to pc and phone-the pc can 'see' the q10 but the bb link keeps saying that my bb id isn't associated with a device running Blackberry10 OS..

sorry forgot to say that the usb cord is new and I've tried all the ports which work for other things...

Try unistalling blackberry desktop manager if you have one installed in your pc. Try to uninstall anything blackberry related from your pc except blackberry link.
