For those having problems running Blackberry Link in Windows 10, please try to reinstall it in Windows 7 compatibility mode. I did that yesterday and was able to run it including making back ups. I am using Blackberry Q10 running the latest OS 10.3.3.2163. Thanks

Works fine on my Windows 10 machine... as is.

It is usually how many are having problems installing it, when so many of us don't. Might be another 3rd Party App interfering. Might be the difference in the moon phases.

Compatibility mode is a good idea to try...

Windows 10 is not officially supported by BlackBerry Link. It will install fine for some people, and for some it won't. It also will stop working after sometime for some(i experienced it, I just reinstalled and it's OK for now)

My primarily PC with window 10 did not work but I used fresh install window 10 laptop and blackberry link worked. Not sure what is interfering but it does work.

My PC say program incompatible. Tried Windows 8,7, Vista, and XP compatibility modes.

This worked for me.
To rename the iTunesPrefs.xml file;
Turn on Show hidden files and folders
Navigate to C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\
Rename the iTunesPrefs XML file file to iTunesPrefs.old

I had problems, unintalled Link then simply plugged my phone in and let the software do its thing and all was fine again after that.
